I just love this kid!

I am so NOT a fan of road trips, but we really wanted to spend Thanksgiving with our extended families. My dad and brother had left earlier in the week to go to Idaho and hunt down Bambi, so my mom drove up with us. I have to say, if you are going to drive for 10 hours with a 4 month old and 2 year old, that's they way to do it: sit your mom in between them. I finished 2 Christmas crafts and took a couple naps. Stayed at my cousin's house in St. George overnight on the way there, so fun to see Tiff and Brig and their families. Can't wait for the reunion, yes Smith cousins, we are planning a reunion! The kids were angels, until the trip home around hour 10 when we were in bad traffic. Can't blame them. Oh, and do you like Weston's black eye? Intramural football. Christmas card pics. will only showcase the kids this year as a result.
This is the playhouse to end all playhouses. My grandma had this built when all of the Squires cousins were young. So many memories playing in this with my sister and cousin, Valerie. Especially one night when the 3 of us had a sleepover in the playhouse and my sister had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. My grandparents lived on a large farm at the time (when they moved to their current house, the playhouse came with them) and Britt was scared to go all the way to the main house by herself, so she woke me up to go with her. However, when we opened the door, Papa had irrigated and there was no way to get to the main house...I'll end the story there.
Ran a Turkey Trot with friend Drea. Lost Dre at some point when she stopped to use her inhaler and I was talking away to nobody. So caught up with Weston's high school friend, Josh, and ran with him. It was 25 degrees that morning, please note what Mr. Indian was wearing in 25 degree weather.
We actually had TG dinner with Weston's mom's extended family, it was great to see his grandparents and all of his cousins and aunts and uncles. I didn't get any pictures of that, but his Aunt Shannon hosted and even had placecards for all 40+ people that were there. Thank you, Shannon and Jeff!
Also had a little reunion with friends of ours from college. Two of my former roomates, Drea and Jana, Weston's friends Rotha (and wife Racie) and Spencer.
This is a pretty good picture of the little girls considering they had just spent the previous 20 minutes crying and hiding behind their dad's legs. Oh, and see the sucker and ring pops? That's the only way they would go near the witch for a picture.
And all my dad could say was, "Now you all know what I wake up to every morning."
Hailey told me that night that next Halloween, Nana has to be Cinderella with her. She learned her lesson.
